Hire Policy Terms And Conditions

 

Our insurance covers all drivers between the ages of 21 – 70, having held a full licence for at least one year prior to hiring. Additional drivers can be added to each hire at no extra charge.

For any driver falling outwith the age range, please get in touch with us as we may be able to help arrange insurance cover for you.

In the event of accident damage, our policy excess is £500.

Our Fuel Policy

 

All our hired vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. Customers can either return the vehicles fully fuelled, or we can refuel the vehicles and add the fuel costs to the final invoice – no mileage charge means you can freely explore all that The Hebrides have to offer without limitations.

In cases where a vehicle is off-hired in a location that falls outwith Benbecula (North Uist, South Uist, Isle of Barra, Isle of Lewis, etc), the hirer is responsible for all fuel costs incurred while returning the car to our depot.

Charges To Your Card

 

Any charges to your card for car hire will appear on your bank or credit card statement as ‘Crossroads Filling Station’ as our terminal is registered under this name.
